All agree that St-Barth offers sailing aficionados ideal conditions. Whereas some only have the chance to visit the Island once per year at the Cata Cup, others are lucky enough to attend other events happening in St-Barth during the year. We were lucky to catch up with Sam Goodchild who sails on Phaedo during Les Voiles de St-Barth.

Sam will be back for the 9th edition and this time, he is taking along another crew from the UK, Wim Decca and Astrid Janssens. Last year Patrick Carro, who was sailing at the Bucket, and the GC32 crew on Les Voiles (Benjamin Amiot, Erik Maris, Thierry Fouchier) were the lucky ones to enjoy the warm weather of St-Barth. While Thierry Fouchier has dedicated his time and energy on the America’s Cup with Groupama Team France, all of the others should be back to compete and have a good time in November!
