Two teams from Argentina are sailing at the St-Barth Cata Cup for the first time in the regatta’s history. We wanted to know how they have heard about the event and why they registered. Interview with Cruz Gonzales Smith.
 

This is your first time at the St-Barth Cata Cup. How did you hear about the event?

Yes, this is our first time. The Cata Cup it is a very well known event between international sailors, and famous because of the perfect sailing conditions. For these reasons it was a long time goal to be there!

 

What made you want to come to the Cata Cup?

It was the possibility to be sailing in paradise against the best teams in the world!

 

What are your plans for the year to come in sailing?

Our main goal is the 2016 F18 Worlds in our country, Argentina. We want to be really fit for that!
